Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a responsible professional for the St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL. This day shift and PRN role supports cardiovascular procedures, aseptic technique, and patient transport while maintaining infection control standards.

Minimum credentials include BLS within 30 days and CCI credentials; ALS/PALS are preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and readiness for physician and case needs in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• CCI CVIS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International credential before hire.
• ALS and PALS preferred per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Handle, prepare, and maintain asepsis.
• Anticipate and adapt to physician and case needs.
• Assist with room setup, patient transport and post-procedure cleanup.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Demonstrate knowledge and variation of procedures, including the equipment/supplies used for performance.
• Demonstrate proper handling, preparation, and maintains asepsis.
• Anticipate and adapt to physician and case needs.
• Assist with room setup, patient transport and post-procedure clean-up.
• Ensure infection control and sharp safety procedures are followed regarding waste and reusable products.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
