Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia is hiring for a Cath Lab/EP support role at Piedmont Henry Hospital. You will assist physicians in invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures, with thorough knowledge of Cath Lab/EP equipment and patient care during procedures.

Education options include RCIS, RN, or related programs. Licenses such as RCIS (within 2 years), BCLS, and ACLS are required. No experience is needed if RCIS graduate; otherwise 1 year healthcare imaging or RN experience favored.

Qualifications

• Education options include RCIS program, RN degree, or accredited respiratory/paramedic/imaging/exercise physiology program.
• Licenses: RCIS within 2 years if RCIS not licensed at hire; BCLS and ACLS required.
• No experience required if RCIS graduate; 1 year healthcare imaging or RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians in invasive cardiac and EP procedures.
• Maintains and operates Cath Lab/EP equipment.
• Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab/EP Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required or
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required

Work Experience

• No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required or
• 1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license . Upon Hire Required or
• If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however, RCIS must be obtained within 2 Years Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required
