Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a professional to assist in invasive cardiac procedures in the cath lab. The role requires knowledge of lab equipment, patient care during procedures, and the ability to support physicians in real-time. Training and oversight are provided within a collaborative cardiac program.

Eligible candidates may have RCIS, nursing, or allied health backgrounds. Certifications include BLS and ACLS, with RCIS to be obtained within 24 months of hire; multiple pathways are

• RCIS or nursing or allied health program required.
• No experience required.
• RCIS within 24 months of hire; appropriate license required based on healthcare background; BLS; ACLS.

Responsibilities:

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of a RCIS program Required or
• Graduate from a nursing program Required or
• Graduate of a program in respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology Required

Work Experience

• No experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist If a graduate of RCIS program RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire Required or
• Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license. Upon Hire Required and
