Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced cardiovascular technologist to support cardiology and radiology procedures. The role involves scrubbing and monitoring data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab, and ensuring the room is prepared for each case.

You will work days, with 8-hour shifts and some call, with a generous sign-on bonus of 20,000 for qualified candidates; full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS within 30 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills
• ARRT-R and RCIS license as required by State, preferred
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, preferred
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab, preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of instruments and supplies; participates in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current, required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), required within 30 days of hire
• Proficient computer skills
• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), preferred
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, preferred
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab, preferred
