Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL, is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to assist by scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.

You will help prepare the procedure room and monitor supplies, participate in staff meetings, and support performance improvement initiatives while assisting in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R or RCIS license required by state.
• Cardiovascular lab experience preferred.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required/within timeframe.

Department: Cardiology

Schedule: Full-Time, Days, 10-hr shifts, 7a-5:30p

Facility: Prime Healthcare- Mercy Medical Center

Location: Aurora, IL

Sign on Bonus: Up to $10,000

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
