Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Under physician supervision, you will scrub or monitor hemodynamic data, prepare procedure rooms, and assist in cardiovascular labs with ARRT-R/CCT/RCIS certification and ACLS/BCLS compliance. Day shifts, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R, or CCT, or RCIS certification required.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and ACLS within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring in the cardiovascular lab.
• Ensure procedure room is prepared and instruments stocked.
• Support invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
