Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an RN for its Cardiovascular Lab. The role involves direct patient care for adults and geriatric patients, coordinating with physicians and maintaining lab readiness during procedures.

Candidates should have a BSN preferred, active RN license, BCLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year in a cardiovascular lab or critical care. Full-time, day shifts, sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

• Participates in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.
• Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.
• One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
