Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Lab Technologist. Under physician supervision, you will scrub procedures or monitor physiologic data and help ensure a prepared procedure room for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac work.

You will monitor instruments, participate in staff meetings and performance improvement, and assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R licensure or state license required; RCIS/CCT preferred.
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• ACLS and BCLS required within specified timelines.
• Proficient computer skills and charting.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Prepare the procedure room and ensure adequate supplies for each case.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
