Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current MRT license (Texas), ARRT-R registration, Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients with others as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures following radiation safety procedures and prepares patients for exams.
• Administers contrast when necessary and positions patients for imaging.
• Ensures image quality and monitors patient data; performs QA on radiology equipment.
• Takes emergency call within the department and adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and budget constraints.
• Supports professional growth, serves as a resource to less experienced staff, and delivers compassionate, personalized care.
