Job summary

Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, ARRT-R registration, a current Texas MRT license (or temporary), and Basic or Advanced Life Support certification. You will ensure patient safety, prepare patients, and support equipment quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in patient handling and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures with radiation safety.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment and may assist with accreditation.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions.
• Takes emergency call within the department.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards; maintains time, supplies, and quality of service.
• Supports department goals; acts as preceptor and mentor to staff.
• Creates compassionate, personalized experiences for patients and colleagues.
• Other duties as assigned.
