Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS or Basic Life Support; Texas Medical Board MRT license (or temporary); ARRT-R registration.
• Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients and work with a team to perform procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform special/invasive radiology procedures on patients and assist physicians during procedures.
• Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure image quality.
• Enter and monitor patient data and perform quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Identify and report accidents, equipment malfunctions or concerns to management.
• Provide safe care in accordance with department policies and participate in continuous education and mentoring of staff.
