Job summary

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R registration, and BLS certification, with Texas MRT licensure.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist by ARRT-R.
• Certificate in Basic or Advanced Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Performs special/invasive radiology procedures on patients ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exams, explains procedures, positions patients, selects imaging techniques & ensures image quality.
• Enters and monitors patient data; performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Takes emergency call within the department and adheres to department policies and standards.
