Mercy Health is seeking a Special Procedures and Cath Lab Technologist to assist with fluoroscopic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and safety standards. You will prepare patients, document activities, and ensure regulatory compliance across radiation safety and medication administration.

Required ARRT/CCI credentials, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience; EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT or CCI certification required (Radiologic Technologist).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• State licensure preferred where required.
• 1 year radiology experience; surgery exposure preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist Licensed Practitioner in fluoroscopic and interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, minimize anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Review orders with clinicians when clarification is needed.
• Document preliminary findings and critical results in the EMR per policy.
• Perform assigned tasks within patient-safety and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to infection control and confidentiality policies; maintain safety standards.
