Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Cath Lab RN to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced lab environment. You will work alongside cardiologists to perform procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, angioplasty and stent placements, and other invasive cardiovascular interventions.

Role requires an Associate degree in Nursing, SC RN license (or compact state), BLS and ACLS, and at least one year of RN experience with critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in SC or compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1 year of Registered Nurse experience; Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Exceptional Patient Care by assessing, preparing and monitoring patients during procedures.
• Be an integral part of the procedure team, circulating and monitoring hemodynamics.
• Educate and support patients and families on procedures, recovery and care.
• Respond during urgent cardiac cases and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate across the care team to ensure accurate documentation and discharge planning.
