Job summary

The nurse ensures adherence to intensive nursing standards and collaborates with physicians and the interventional team during complex cardiac procedures such as PCI, pacemaker insertions, and diagnostic catheterizations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the state of South Carolina.
• Two years’ ICU/CCU or Telemetry experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures and BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) during the shift.
• Perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, using clinical knowledge and judgment.
• Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
