Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to plan, deliver, document, and evaluate patient care in a designated unit. You will direct nursing staff, observe patient conditions, and maintain accurate records while upholding MetroHealth System’s mission and standards.

The ideal candidate has an Ohio RN license, BSN preferred, and BLS with eligibility for ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. SHift: Weekday; variable starts; Biweekly hours reflect a 60-hour biweekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtains within 90 days of hire.
• Must have knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to maintain positive working relations and high physical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, document, and evaluate nursing care for patients in assigned areas.
• Direct activities of nursing personnel in care delivery.
• Observe and report patient condition; ensure accurate documentation of care, treatment, and responses.
