St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. You will deliver specialized adult and geriatric cardiovascular care, support procedures, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes procedural readiness, equipment management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, and at least 1 year in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related setting.

Formación

• Active RN license required.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications on hire.
• Minimum 1 year in Cardiac Cath Lab or related area.
• Strong monitoring, assessment and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac cath patients.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Document patient condition and report changes promptly to physicians.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment and supplies for readiness.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies for procedures.
• Educate patient and family on procedures, recovery, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, technologists and care team.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
