St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

The RN will provide specialized nursing care to adults undergoing cardiovascular procedures, coordinating with cardiologists and the care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role requires a state RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, and at least 1 year in a Cardiac Cath/Cardiovascular/ICU setting.

Qualificações

• Active state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications on hire and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab/ cardiovascular/ critical care.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and emergency patient management.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients.
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Document patient condition and report changes to physicians.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies for procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care.
• Collaborate with cardiology and care team for high-quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
