This full-time daytime role supports adults and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures, with on-call requirements and a focus on patient safety and outcomes. The RN will collaborate with cardiologists and the care team, manage equipment, and participate in quality initiatives to improve procedural readiness and care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active state RN license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications on hire and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, CV lab, or critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients.
• Monitor and interpret physiologic/hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Document patient condition and report changes to physicians and care team.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team to ensure high quality care.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation per standards.
