St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

You will provide specialized nursing care to adults undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, collaborate with cardiologists, monitor patients, assist in procedures, and ensure safety and quality. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least one year in a Cath Lab or related setting.

Qualificações

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification at hire and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related setting.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Monitor physiologic data before, during, and after procedures and report changes promptly.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for readiness and efficient workflow.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with standards.
