St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

The role provides specialized care for adults and geriatrics undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, with duty to monitor, assist, and educate patients throughout the peri-procedural process. The position requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, and at least 1 year in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related setting.

Qualificações

• Active state RN license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS on hire and maintained.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Lab, or Critical Care setting.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular procedures, and emergency patient management.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Continuously assess and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to physicians and care team members.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readiness and efficient workflow.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate supplies required for scheduled procedures.
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
