St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab team.

You will provide specialized nursing care for adults and geriatrics undergoing cardiovascular procedures, assess patients, monitor during procedures, and assist physicians to ensure safety and quality. This full-time daytime role requires on-call shifts and offers a pay range of $41.24 to $53.47 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to contribute to quality improvement

Qualificações

• Active state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications at hire.
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab/CV lab/CCU experience.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Document patient condition and report changes promptly to physicians and care team.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for readiness and workflow.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, technologists, and care team to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
