St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to provide specialized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The role emphasizes collaboration with cardiologists and the care team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

This is a full-time daytime position with on-call requirements. Competitive pay ranges from $41.24/hr to $53.47/hr, with a broad benefits package and opportunities for professional growth

Competenze

• Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Lab, or Critical Care setting.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular procedures, and emergency patient management.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills.

Mansioni

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Continuously assess and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to physicians and care team members.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readiness and efficient workflow.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate supplies required for scheduled procedures.
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
