Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to provide specialized care for adults and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

You will assess, monitor, and support patients with strong collaboration with cardiologists and the care team. The role requires on-call availability, full-time schedule, and adherence to safety and documentation standards, with a pay range of $41.24–$53.47 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state.
• Current BLS/ACLS certifications on hire.
• Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab/Cardiovascular/Critical Care experience.
• Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and emergency management.
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients.
• Monitor physiologic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Document patient condition and report changes timely.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain inventory for scheduled procedures and equipment.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and care team to ensure quality care.
• Participate in QA and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per standards.
