Job summary

St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ, is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role provides specialized nursing care for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including assessment, monitoring, procedural support, and post-procedure care.

On-call required for a full-time, day shift. Responsibilities include equipment management, patient education, and collaboration with cardiology and the care team to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications on hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care.
• Strong monitoring and emergency patient management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients.
• Monitor physiologic data before, during, and after procedures.
• Document clinical data accurately and timely.
• Assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures.
• Prepare rooms and manage equipment for procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
