Job summary

Stuart Cardiovascular Surgery Center is hiring a Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will assist physicians with interventional cardiovascular procedures, monitor patients, administer medications, and provide pre-/post-procedure education in a fast-paced setting.

We seek a skilled nurse with strong cardiovascular knowledge, aseptic technique, and teamwork abilities to support high-quality patient outcomes and a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification required or obtainable.
• Previous Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and patient management.
• Understanding and application of aseptic and sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels, and overall condition during procedures.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and contrast agents as ordered.
• Provide patient and family education regarding pre- and post-procedure care.
• Maintain infection control, sterile technique, and patient safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and cardiovascular team for seamless care.
• Maintain documentation of patient care, procedural details, medications, and complications.
• Respond to emergencies, including cardiac events, promptly and effectively.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are maintained and ready for procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, recovery, and discharge per protocols.
• Promote a professional, compassionate, patient-centered environment.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The Cath Lab RN plays a crucial role in assisting physicians with interventional cardiac procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring optimal care before, during, and after procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
