Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist in Midlothian, TX seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. This role supports the cath lab team with monitoring, imaging, and patient care throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a science field, current ACLS, RCIS (or ARRT/TX RT(R) path), and be prepared to obtain RCIS within six months. Monday–Friday, full-time.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare-related field.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS).
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) eligible/licensed in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Monitors during procedures, interprets basic/advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction as scrub tech.
• Circulator duties: monitor patient status, hand supplies, operate imaging equipment.
• Transports patient to and from department.
• Cleans and stocks cath lab; maintains sterile technique.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medications and dosages.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems.
