Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. You will monitor, operate imaging equipment, and assist as scrub tech in the cath lab.

Required: Associate or Bachelor’s in science, AHA ACLS, RCIS within six months, ARRT/TX RT(R) if RCIS unavailable, and licensure. Includes teaching staff, inventory control, sterile technique, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred).
• AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required.
• RCIS certification within six months of date of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as a monitor tech during cath lab procedures, interpreting dysrhythmia and EKGs, and operating physiologic recorder.
