Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab. You will assist physicians, monitor patients, operate imaging equipment, and help with patient transport and post-procedure care.

The role requires RCIS within six months (or ARRT/TX RT(R)), an AHA ACLS is preferred, and an appropriate degree in science or healthcare experience is required. This is an on-site position in the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire (or ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu).

Responsabilités

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assist physician as monitor tech during cath lab procedures and interpret basic/advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operate physiologic recorder and interpret pressures and waveforms under physician direction.
• Assist with procedures as scrub tech and assist with imaging equipment as directed.
• Monitor patient status as circulator and hand supplies.
• Transport patient to and from department and maintain cath lab sterility.
