Job summary

The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS at Dallas Center United Methodist assists with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision, operating imaging and physiologic equipment in the cath lab.

You will monitor patient status, support scrub and circulator duties, and help with equipment readiness, sterile technique, and post-procedure care, with required RCIS/ARRT or TX RT(R) credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in science or related healthcare field.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within eighteen (18) months of hire; ARRT and TX RT(R) allowed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Interprets basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs and operates physiologic recorder during procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction and assists as scrub tech and circulator as needed.
• Monitors patient status, assists with transport, and maintains sterile technique.
• Orders supplies and maintains laboratory readiness; supports post-procedure safety.
