Ochsner Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in the Cardiac Cath Lab in Baton Rouge. You will operate fluoroscopy equipment, monitor patient vitals, and assist physicians during procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy in imaging and documentation.

Required are an associate degree, BLS/ACLS certification, and ARRT registration. A flexible schedule and on-call availability are expected, with opportunities for growth and ongoing clinical education.

Mansioni

Assist the catheterization team with patient setup and pre/post procedure tasks.
Record accurate procedure and interventions in the procedure log for billing.
Operate radiographic fluoroscopy equipment to image coronary and peripheral vessels.
Monitor hemodynamic data and report values to the physician.
Control radiation exposure to protect patients and staff.
Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images in PACS.
Perform routine fluoroscopy equipment maintenance and quality checks.
Adapt communication and explanations to diverse patients and situations.
