Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support the cath lab in performing invasive coronary/vascular and EP procedures. You will operate imaging and electrophysiology equipment, maintain sterile technique, monitor hemodynamics, and assist physicians with sedation as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification as required by cardiology support roles.
• ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
• ARRT radiography registration and radiologic technology training.
• State or national licensing as Radiologic Technologist is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures with setup and operation of imaging and electrical equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hemodynamics, cardiac anatomy, and equipment use for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation per policy and assist with anesthesia needs.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare patients for procedures and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety, accuracy of documentation, and optimal outcomes.
