Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab Specialist to support invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures and electrophysiology workups. You will assist cardiologists, operate imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout complex interventions.

The role requires radiologic technologist credentials, BLS, ACLS within 1 year, and ARRT certification, with a focus on sterile technique, sedation support, and hands‑on data handling.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare patient for procedures.
• Monitor patient status and interpret basic hemodynamic data.
• Educate patients and coordinate with team to ensure safety.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and post-procedure care.
