Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in the Cath Lab to assist Cardiologists in invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac procedures. You will set up and operate imaging equipment, monitor patients, and ensure aseptic technique and patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

BLS Provider certification required (AHA).
ACLS within 1 year required (AHA).
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (ARRT).

Responsibilities

Assist Cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures using proper technique and equipment.
Set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment; ensure patient safety and aseptic technique.
Maintain knowledge of hemodynamics, cardiac anatomy, and EP/fluoroscopic fundamentals.
Interpret EKGs and monitor for complications during procedures; communicate with physicians as needed.
Collaborate with team and vendors to ensure quality care and patient safety.
Document procedures, medications, and patient responses accurately; participate in data collection for quality improvement.
