Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to support invasive cardiology procedures and electrophysiology in our busy lab. You will assist physicians, set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment, and uphold aseptic technique while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing sterile fields, coordinating with nursing and imaging staff, interpreting EKGs, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid radiologic technology certification and ARRT license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in cath lab or interventional cardiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular EP procedures using sterile technique.
• Set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare sterile fields.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor hemodynamics during procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
