Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab professional to assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, including setup of imaging equipment and patient monitoring. The role requires strong knowledge of hemodynamics, aseptic technique, and the ability to educate patients throughout procedures.

The position features a competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• License/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Radiography.
• Education: Radiologic Technology certificate.
• Wide knowledge of cardiac/vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging equipment and monitors.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field.
• Interpret EKGs and monitor patient stability during procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Prepare and pass sterile devices as required during procedures.
