Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Cath Lab technician to assist cardiologists in invasive and diagnostic procedures. You will set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment, maintain aseptic technique, and support sedation and patient care throughout cardiac and EP procedures.

The role requires strong knowledge of hemodynamics, cardiac anatomy, and radiation safety. Competitive hourly compensation and bonuses are offered, with relocation options for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider per AHA requirements.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (IEMA).
• ACLS within 1 year – AHA.
• ARRT registration in Radiography.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary/vascular/EP procedures; set up and operate imaging equipment and monitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hemodynamics, cardiac anatomy, physiology, and equipment use.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sedation policy; communicate with patients to reduce anxiety during procedures.
• Provide support for data collection and device implantation procedures; ensure accurate documentation and safe care.
