Job summary

Mercyhealth seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Tech I in Janesville, WI to assist Cardiologists during diagnostic and complex interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. The role supports inventory, staff training, and policy development, with on-call rotation and potential overtime during peak periods.

The ideal candidate will have an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology degree, 2+ years experience in Cath Lab settings, and current BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Two years experience as Cardiac Catheterization Tech I or equivalent.
• AART registered or registry eligible.
• Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist License.
• Cardiovascular Technologist registered or registry eligible.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization and complex interventional procedures.
• Maintain Cath lab inventory.
• Train and orient new staff; contribute to policy development.
• Participate in Quality Assessment and Improvement initiatives.
• Work flexible hours and on-call roster as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Cath Lab Coordinator or Heart Program Director.
