Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Technician I to support diagnostic and complex interventional procedures in the cath lab. The role includes inventory maintenance, staff training, and helping implement policies in a fast-paced heart program.

Qualified candidates will have AMA-accredited radiologic training, 2 years experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Tech I, and relevant licenses/certifications (AART, state license, BLS, ACLS preferred). On-call and flexible hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Two years experience as Cardiac Catheterization Tech I or equivalent.
• AART registered or registry eligible; Wisconsin Radiology license; CV tech registered or registry eligible.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions of Cardiac Catheterization Tech I.
• Assists Cardiologist during diagnostic catheterization and complex interventional procedures.
• Maintains cath lab inventory.
• Trains and orients new staff.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures.
• Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement.
• May work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods.
• Participates in the on-call roster.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Cath Lab Coordinator or Heart Program Director.
