Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Tech I to assist in diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac procedures. The role includes lab inventory management and staff training, with involvement in policy development and quality improvement.

Flexible hours and on-call participation may be required, with duties assigned by the Cath Lab Coordinator or Heart Program Director. BLS/ACLS preferred and state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Two years experience as Cardiac Catheterization Tech I or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization and complex interventional procedures.
• Maintain cath lab inventory and assist training of new staff.
• Participate in policy/procedure development and quality improvement.
• Occasional overtime and on-call as required by the unit.
