Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations to ensure smooth patient care and assign beds and staff.
• Support patient and employee satisfaction while promoting safety and retention; act as real-time resource.
• Coordinate quality initiatives and process improvements; manage to metrics.
• Develop leadership among staff and support career advancement.
• Facilitate unit meetings and governance efforts.
• Lead staffing, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster learning.
• Assist in operational budgeting and resource management for the department.
• Supervise staff and partner with physicians to ensure high-quality care.
