Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Invasive CV Technologist to support the cardiovascular lab at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. You will assist physicians during angiography, catheterizations, and related interventional procedures, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires an Associate's degree, BLS, and ACLS within 12 months, with full-time, 40-hour weeks and potential on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Locates historical information on patient and maintains patient files after procedures.
• Performs regular cleaning of equipment, transducers, pressure injectors, and compressors.
• Assists physician with catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization, as well as angioplasties, stent procedures, and pacemaker insertions.
• Follows all radiation safety guidelines/procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to schedule procedures appropriate for the lab, reviewing and recording pertinent patient history and supporting clinical data.
• Records procedure data accurately, calculating ejection fractions and cardiac outputs.
