Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional materials and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with catheter insertions and injections during angiography and heart catheterization.
• Maintain cath lab equipment, monitor radios, and ensure infection control standards.
• Record data accurately, review patient history, and communicate critical findings to the team.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and patient safety procedures.
• Schedule procedures and manage chart labeling for patients with iodine allergies.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hemodynamic data and basic cardiovascular pharmacology.
