Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis seeks a Full Time Invasive Cardio Tech to support cardiovascular diagnostic, interventional, and electrophysiology procedures in the EP/Cath Lab. Expect scrub, monitor, or circulate duties with on-call availability and patient education before and after procedures.

The role requires a cardiovascular technology credential or related diploma, BLS, and emerging ACLS/PALS certifications as needed.

Qualifications

Certification in basic life support; ACLS/PALS preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Educational credentials aligned with cardiovascular technology and related allied health fields.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-care skills.
Ability to perform during on-call shifts and handle emergency procedures.
Experience in cath lab or EP lab environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Assist physician during cardiovascular diagnostic, interventional, or electrophysiology procedures.
Scrub, monitor, or circulate as part of the team during procedures.
Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
Administer contrast media and medications within policy.
Perform 12-lead EKGs and monitor cardiac rhythms.
Document care in medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
Maintain cath lab/electrophysiology lab supplies and equipment.
