Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is hiring an Invasive Cardiac Technologist to join the Cardiology Department at Baptist South. This full-time role requires flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include preparing the Cath Lab, scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, and supporting EP procedures. Candidates should have AS degree or military diploma with invasive cardiology experience plus RCIS/ARRT credentials, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Cath lab experience or exposure on clinical rotations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications strongly preferred.
• RCIS certification or ARRT/CI certification required or pursued.
• Education: AS degree or military diploma with relevant invasive cardiology exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Cath Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.
• Performs technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures (cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals).
• Performs technical duties such as scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring/recording for EP procedures, RF ablations and pacemakers/ICDs.
• Assists with monitoring and care of patient as directed.
