Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision. You will assist with monitoring, imaging, and scrub/circulator roles in the cath lab, with responsibilities spanning patient prep, equipment operating, and post-procedure care.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a science field or commensurate healthcare experience.
Current AHA ACLS certification required.
RCIS certification within six months of date of hire or equivalent ARRT/TX RT(R) alternative.
ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
Monitor dysrhythmia and EKG during procedures and operate physiologic recorder.
Assist physician as scrub tech and operate imaging equipment.
Assist as circulator by monitoring patient status and handing supplies.
Transport patients to and from the department.
Stock and clean cath lab; maintain sterile technique.
