Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications: RDCS or RCS registry within 6 months of completing 12 months of clinical experience; BLS from AHA.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in cardiac ultrasound.
• Knowledge: Cardiac anatomy, Doppler physics, and hemodynamics relevant to ultrasound imaging.
• Skills: Proficiency in ultrasound imaging, patient education, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic echocardiography including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler and stress echo.
• Compiles patient history and presents preliminary findings.
• Maintains patient care and collaborates with health care team.
• Performs procedures, documents results, and ensures safety and confidentiality.
• Adapts to flexible schedule and manages equipment and room preparation.
