Ochsner Health System in Kenner, Laplace, and Luling seeks a Cardiac Sonographer for PRN coverage. You will perform 2D/M mode, Doppler, Color Flow, stress echo, and Dobutamine studies, compiling patient history and presenting preliminary findings.

Requires RDCS/ RCS registry within 6 months, BLS certification, and 1 year of cardiac ultrasound experience preferred but not required. Works across multiple sites with flexible scheduling.

Formación

• RDCS or RCS registry within 6 months of completing the 12-month clinical experience period.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in cardiac ultrasound preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares, educates, and instructs patients on procedures.
• Performs diagnostic sonographic procedures.
• Documents and keeps patient records.
• Maintains privacy and adapts care for patient population.
• Performs other related duties as required.
