Job summary

The Director of Cath Lab at Physicians Regional Healthcare System leads the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory across Naples, FL. This senior role directs operations, staffing, and patient flow to ensure safe, high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

In this position you collaborate with cardiology teams, nursing leaders, and hospital administration to optimize resources, drive performance metrics, and sustain continuous improvement in outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• State licensure and/or Compact State licensure or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of the Cath Lab to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborates with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nursing leaders, and other departments to optimize patient flow and resource use.
• Monitors clinical performance metrics and implements data-driven strategies to improve outcomes and throughput.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory bodies and participates in audits and accreditation processes.
• Develops staff education programs to maintain competency and professional development.
• Leads department readiness for surveys, inspections, and audits; maintains documentation up to date.
