Job summary

Intermountain Health in Denver, CO is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to support our Imaging service line. This part-time role involves assisting in angiography procedures, scrubbing, and ensuring high-quality images while following safety protocols.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a collaborative, patient-centered work environment. Candidates should have ARRT, BCLS, ACLS within 120 days, PALS if pediatric, and relevant state licensure.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BCLS)
• ACLS within 120 days
• PALS within 120 days (for pediatric hospitals)
• Relevant State Licensure and/or certifications
• Minimum 2 years Angio/Interventional experience or VIR certification

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provides procedural assistance as a circulating tech, scrub tech, or monitoring tech.
• Understands and operates IR equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensures proper patient identification and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Follows protocol for medical necessity, coding and charging guidelines, obtaining consents, and reports equipment issues.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Keeps accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates with other providers.
• At end of procedure, manages hemostasis as appropriate.
